- Crafters Circle
Saturday, November 22, 10:30-Noon
If you enjoy knitting or crocheting, would like to learn the basics, or share ideas then this program is for you. We’re going to help Project Linus, but we need your help. Project Linus is a nationwide volunteer organization that provides handmade security blankets for children suffering from illness or trauma in their lives. Knit or crochet squares (5-inches-by-5-inches) and we’ll put together as many blankets as possible and present them to Project Linus in time for the holidays. Washable blankets may be knitted, crocheted with any pattern, quilted, or made of fleece. Instructions will be available at the front desk. For ages 9 to adult. If you can't make it to the Crafter's Circle, but want to help Project Linus, you can bring any spare yarn you have to the library, so it can be used by other crafters.
